First Year Students

Welcome, Potential First Year Students!

The Warnell School admits students in two categories: pre-professional and professional students. Pre-professional students are students that are taking core courses either at UGA or at other institutions. Professional students are students that have completed the core curriculum and are ready to begin or are currently taking Forestry and Natural Resources (FANR, FISH, FORS, NRRT, WASR, or WILD) courses. Regardless of status, students wishing to enter Warnell must apply to UGA through Undergraduate Admissions. To enroll as a pre-professional student, be sure to indicate "Forestry and Natural Resources" as the school/college in which you plan to enroll.
