How do I subscribe to an RSS Feed on the Warnell website? |
|
|
RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a format for publishing frequently updated content on a web site
, such as news posts or calendar entries. An RSS document is called a "feed" and contains a summary of the content and links to the website. Feeds sometimes contain audio content and are called "podcasts." By subscribing to a feed, users can keep up with updates to a web site
without having to visit the site. Many parts of the Warnell website offer RSS feeds:
Most newer browsers include a built-in feed reader (Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, Safari and Opera), which will give you the option to subscribe to the feed. Once you have subscribed, your feed shows up in your bookmarks/favorites. If you are using Internet Explorer 6 or other browsers that do not have a built-in feed reader, you will need to download a separate application to read the feeds, called a feed aggregator or feed reader. These are the URLs for the Warnell feeds:
