Health Insurance

It is recommended that all UGA students be covered by health insurance either with an individual student policy or through their family policy. For international students and some graduate students, carrying health insurance is mandatory. The University will provide a contribution toward the premium to help offset the cost of the statewide mandated policy for students who are on at least 1/3 time Graduate Assistanships, and some Fellowships and Training Grants.
