Applications are invited for the position of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism. This is a full time, tenure-track, 12-month, 50% research, 50% teaching appointment, with involvement in outreach and service activities. This position reports directly to the Dean of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources (Warnell School). We seek a scientist to join our natural resources recreation and tourism (NRRT) program.  Potential areas of specialty for this position are broad and can include either (1) natural resources recreation and tourism management, (2) human dimensions of natural resources, (3) non-market valuation, and/or (4) environmental education.

This is a full time, tenure-track, 12-month, 60% teaching, 40% research appointment. This position reports directly to the Dean of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources (WSFNR). We seek a scientist with teaching and research interests in the developing and testing concepts of sustainability with strong emphasis on objective definition(s) and quantification of sustainable management of forest and other natural resources.

Assistant Professor of Wildlife Management

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor of Wildlife Management. This is a 12-month, tenure-track, research/teaching (50/50) appointment. This position reports directly to the Dean of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. We seek a scientist with research interests in applied wildlife management. Projects would need to serve the direct needs of state and federal natural resource management agencies, and could include population and habitat management, stakeholder management, and decision-analysis.
